Ways to Help

Maiani Friends Academy, Kenya

Maiani Friends Academy is a private school founded by Mr. Aaron Musau to provide education to kids whose parents could not afford to take their kids to school. The kids who were in school used to walk miles. The second reason Mr. Musau decided to start Maiani Friends Academy was so that kids can stop walking miles for education. He was kind and generous enough to donate part of his land for the school. With very limited resources from his own pockets, he has managed to build temporary structures for the kids. In 2024, the Ministry of education was threatening not to renew his permit for the school unless he had at least one permanent stable classroom. By the grace of God, he has worked very had to ensure that kids continue to learn with limited resources including food and water. Supporting our cause will help to provide these kids with safe building structures, food, water availability, which is a major problem in the area, books, better pay for the teachers who are currently teaching and earning very little, which says a lot about their dedication to these kids, having left better equipped schools with better pay. They have contributed highly in motivating us to do everything we can to involve compassionate contributors like you, to provide assistance to the school to make their job easier and to make sure they, and the other employees of the school, are able to take care of their families too. We want to help provide preventive healthcare check-ups, general healthcare education, information and advice by volunteer doctors, nurses and other healthcare professionals. The school needs better kitchen equipment to help prepare and serve food for the students, a playground and field for kids extra curricular activities, uniforms etc. Thank you for your interest in taking part in this noble cause.
